BO Universe and WEBI Reports migration from non SAP data source to SAP BW on HANA

Hi BO experts,

We have a requirement where a Universe is built on BO 4.1 on top of non SAP data source and few WEBI reports on top of Universe.

Now Business wants to upgrade the non SAP data source to SAP BW on HANA 7.5.

Since building the same Universe and WEBI reports from scratch will be a tiring effort, if there is a way that we can copy the old reports and map the tables to the new data source to re use the objects will reduce a lot of effort.

If someone has done this would be of great help if they share thier experience.

This is a hunch worth trying.

Can you create a universe in IDT based on SAP BW and then try to update the data source (One referred to non-sap) for the report
