Substitution and Absence in Shift Planning

Former Member

Dear All,

we have designed shift plan as per my clients requirement, where changes in shifts, weekly-off is getting reflected.

we want to know how can we reflect absences from IT2001 and substitution from IT2003 in PP61(shift plan). As currently its passing as * instead of capturing particular absence type or substitution.

Please let me know what config i need to check to reflect my substitution and absence in shift plan-PP61.

Please help.

Thanks & regards,

Zara

Hi Zara,

Please check the configuration of the necessary customizing step with transaction code oot1or spro-Time Management-Shift Planning-Specify Shift Groups

For STANDARD - Standard shift group choose the line and double click on Shift Abbreviation.

Here you must define Shift Abbreviations from IT2003 and IT2001.

In first shift area write short text

In second shift area write long text

DWS Group MOTPR will be written

Daily WS choose daily workschedule

From - To is the hours of the shift

Break is the duration of break

  • contains Abs (abscence), Att (attendance) and Auth(availability) For abscences check it.

Shift Shift DwsGroup DWS Variant From To Break * Sort Color

// Off 01 FREE 00:00 00:00 00:00 1 6 Red (negative threshold value - dependent on GUI)

DIZN 01 00:00 00:00 00:00 3 6 Red (negative threshold value - dependent on GUI)

NOR1 01 NOR1 08:30 18:30 01:00 4 5 Green (positive threshold value - dependent on GUI)

NORM 01 NORM 08:30 17:00 01:00 5 5 Green (positive threshold value - dependent on GUI)

V100 01 V100 15:30 24:00 01:00 101 3 Yellow (totals - dependent on GUI)

V101 01 V101 16:30 01:00 01:00 102 3 Yellow (totals - dependent on GUI)

V102 01 V102 12:30 23:00 01:00 103 3 Yellow (totals - dependent on GUI)

V103 01 V103 15:30 23:00 00:30 104 3 Yellow (totals - dependent on GUI)

V104 01 V104 16:30 23:00 00:30 105 3 Yellow (totals - dependent on GUI)

V105 01 V105 16:00 23:00 00:30 106 3 Yellow (totals - dependent on GUI)

For absence check the abscence check and then from tab chose abscence. Pop up screen will appear and in this screen chose the abscence type.

Hello,

I checked the way you asked me to do config.

I tried inserting absence and attendance type for particular shift and i found below restriction:-

1) we can assign only 1 type of absence in that pop up box.

2) even when i am assigning absence in shift group, same isn't reflecting in PP61.

How can i define all absence type in for all single-single DWS / shift, as in particular shift employee's can take any type of leave. Also, even after assigning absence type why it dint reflected in PP61, do we need to do some other setting as well ?.

What setting we need to do to reflect substitution in shift plan.

Please let us know how to solve this issue

Please help.

Thanks & Regards,

Zara

Hi Zara;

Unfortunately it is not possible to assign more than one abscence type to the entry. So you need to create more than one entry for abscences. I mean for all abscence types you need to create an entry.

Normally it should effect immediately.

Can you check groupings while you customize the table, I mean...

i. Motpr

ii. Moabw

You shall also check table T77S0. In this table you shall check...

i. PEINS MOABW 01

ii.PEINS MOTPR 01
