Problem in extraction

Iam getting problem inthe extraction.i.e the data is not loaded into the infocube.

The status says ok. But no data inthe psa and Infocube

Diagnosis

No errors could be found. The current process has probably not finished yet.

Current status

No Idocs arrived from the source system.

In the detailstab it gives.

1.Overall it shows red: Error occured or message missing.

2.Request confirmation isok.

3.In extraction( missing message).

4.Transfer(idoc and rfc): error occured. The appln document not posted.

5.processing(data): No data.

pls suggest me how to correct this problem.

    You could check the extraction job (in SM37 with your reqyest number in the job name) or check for any system dumps (in ST22) in your source system....this might give you a clue as to what went wrong.

    krish,

    check the ff:

    - source system (is it up? background processes available?" rfc connection to it properly maintained?)

    - rfc user used (complete authorisations? correct username/password?)

    - check table ROIDOCPRMS. if you maintained a target server for batch jobs, is that server up/existing?

    - any ABAP dumps (ST22)?

    you could also check tcode SM21 (system log) in the source system to see what error actually happened.

    According to me u have an error with ur source system connection....pls check that I have faced the same problem..

    Please check if you have data in source system. Use RSA3 transaction to find out same.
