need to reverse GR in REM after UD

HI all,

we are using inspection type 04 for some REM materials. user made GR for a one planned order and inspection lot is created. UD is made against this inspection lot and stock is move to unrestricted.

Now, due to some reasons, we want to cancel the GR. We tried this by using MF47 but system is giving message, 'can not cancel GR as inspection lot is partly posted'.

The stock is completely moved to unrestricted.

Is there any way to reversethe GR for the specifid quantity?

Hi

You need to reverse this stock posting back to quality stock. To reverse the Quantity back to quality, you need to apply SAP note 175842.

Once applying this note, goto se38, execute RQEVAC50, provide the inspection lot no. & execute. The lot will get reversed.

Then u will be able to cancel the GR.

I checked this note. I have one query reqgarding it.

Do we have De implement this note once we reverse the GR? AS per SAP this is a program corrction whichis not available in satndard SAP so just wanted to confirm.

Hi

You can implement the note at any point of time. Now, in this case u need to implement before reversal of the GR since u will not be able to reverse the same unless you implement this note.
