Did you copy the DvD to the server to run it? Reset all files to 777 from the root of the installation disc down?

    Who is the owner?

I installed as user root (as per the instructions) and had a few ownership problems. From memory, I had to install all the DVDs onto the system disk as user root, too.

      Hi ,

Thanks for ur reply. Yes i have copied the dvd's to the hard disk. I have done all the changes like giving file permissions as required . My HP-unix Version is 11.11 and Iam installting SAP R3 47X200 SR1 , with database oracle 9205.

Can anyone confirm whether all this environment is compatible with each other.

      Thanks

      Neenad
