Need formula editor to reassign a database code to description

I am new to SAP Business One.

I am trying to make changes to a new copy of the System Production Order. I wish to change the Issued Qty column by using a Formula field. If WOR1.Issue Type ='B' I want to print "Auto" If it ="M" I want to leave it blank.

1. What conditional statements are available in the formula editor?

2. Where can I find any documentation on the formula editor?

3. How do you reassign a code eg "B" to text eg "Auto"

Thanks for your help

    Hi Chris,

for the documentation on pld, try to go here.

then for your formula problem, why dont you create a UDF and Formatted search. here is the guide.

    1. create UDF_convert

    2. create FMS and insert into your udf_convert

    declare @var1 as nvarchar(10)

    set @var1 = UDF_convert from TABLENAME

    if @var1 = '1'

    select 'auto'

    select 'null'

set the FMS to Auto update on issued qty.

    3. insert the UDF_convert into your PLD. (no need to add a formula)

    Best Regards,
