Hi Exoerts,
I have a requirement parked documents should get approval before posting, i used workflow by triggering event of ( FIPP )
that is working fine but the approval ( Release ) should happen through external mail,
i.e,. SAP Release screen should go as an attachment of the external mail and if they released means it should allow to post .
please guide me,
Thanks in Adv,
Srinivasan.R
Hi Srinivasan,
You can send the workitems or Notifications as a hyperlink and have to follow the following step
1- mail id should be maintained for user wf-batch
2- user id sholud be maintained for the all apporvers who will gonna get the workitem or notifications.
and used Tcode SO13 for automatic forwording.
3- SMTP port should be configured in SCOT.
4- report RSWUWFML2 should be run in background.
5- RSCONN01 should be schelduded in background.
6- Moniter the traiff of incoming and outgoing through SOST.
Remember the report RSWUWFML2 will be used to send the workitem as a link.
Hope this is helpfull.
Regards
Anik

Hi srinivasan,
Create an activity which calls your SAP GUI screens directly. This should be your Work Item that you want to send to the inbox of the particular user and In the as mail notification as well. So in your mail notification step use the Program RSWUWFML2 (set it as a back ground job) and forword this activity as a link to the external mail id.
