Question regarding populating Internal table values

hello,

I have 2 internal tables as mentioned below

Table I

F1 F2

VBELN XXXX

AEDAT 01/01/2005

F1 & F2 are fields of Table I

Table II

VBELN AEDAT

Is it possible to populate the values of Table I to

Table II based the field names which is one of the values in Table I ?.

After copying the values in Table II should be

Table II

VBELN AEDAT

XXXX 01/01/2005

Thanks in advance,

Jay

    Hi Jay,

"MOVE-CORRESPONDING src TO dst" transfers values using the field names.

BTW, it's better to post questions like this in the ABAP" target="_blank">https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/collaboration.sdn?node=linkFnode2-3&contenttype=url&content=https%3A%2F%2Fforums.sdn.sap.com%2Fforum.jspa%3FforumID%3D50">ABAP programming forum

    Hope that helps.

    Regards

    Stefan
