Maintenance orders againt strategy plans

Dear PM Guru's,

i am created strategy based plans and i given 85% call horizon, in strategy i mentioned 7days, one month, 3months and halfyearly. i started cycle on 06.08.2011, i get weekly order one day before but where as 1month i get order on same planned date? actually it should come before 5days. why system generates order on same planned date?

please help me how i have to overcome this issue.

    Hello Jalu,

    As pe rthe data given by you, maintenance order should be created on 1 Sept 2011 and planned date of maintenance should

    by 5 Sept 2011. If there is any discrepiency then please check the inpit data once again.

    How you maintained the Packages in strategy? Have you maintained same UoM or different UoM?

    Try to keep UoM as Day for all frequency.

    Also The Call Horizon uses the smallest Package as the basis for calculation

    The call horizon will be calculated for the smallest package i-e 7 days in your case.

    85% * 7 days ~ 6 days.Work order will be created one day before and the same will be apply for all packages of the same strategy.

    If you want to customize it then you have to implement user exit for maintenance plan.

    hi tehsin,

    with out user exit is there any other solution to overcome the issue. how i can get the orders before based on call horizon with different strategies. please tell me technical functionality of the job.

      Create multiple single cycle maintenance plans for each package of the startegy and then maintain 85% call horizon of each maintenance plan.

      Your requirement can't be achieved through startegy maintenance plan without user exit.
