Planned order is not being created while running the mrp

Dear Experts,

I am facing a problem while running the mrp.The Planned order for the particular material is not being created while i am running the mrp by MD02 . The required configuration for the MRP has been done in our system but still the Planned order is not being created. I have checked the master data but still i cannot understand the reason .As a result i have to create the planned orders manually.Please advice on this issue and required changes to be done in the master data or the configuration if it is required.
