Transportmanagement with XI via Java

Hello! A customer has asked me, whether it es possible to realise a transportmanagemt between XI Systems only with Java Komponents. That means without using the "normal" Abap Transportmanagement.

My question is now, if there is a solution for this case. Has anyone allready an answer for my case, or which way do I have to go, to create a concept for that.

Hi Christoph,

The CMS (Change Management System) of SAPs JDI (Java Development Infrastructure) also supports XI development (repository and directory). There's a how-to guide in the Service Marketplace. Be warned, though: the system does not seem entirely complete with regard to XI. Amoung other things, in the CMS it is impossible to see exactly whhich XI objects are included in a given transport.
