bsp http server problem

till yesterday my bsp applications are working fine in my R/3 6.20 server. but for some reason I cound not able tp view any of the bsp pages (including the in-built bsp app). I am guessing it may be 'icm' or 'dispatcher' problem. Error shown in browser is:

<i>'Page cann't be displayed'</i>

under the technical info section it shows:

<i>'The gateway could not receive a timely response from the Web site you are trying to access. This might indicate that the network is congested, or that the Web site is experiencing technical difficulties.'</i>

I tried to restart 'icm', 'dispatcher' & 'j2ee server' from icm monitor screen, but nothing happened.

please help me with your valuable feedback on this matter.

Did you check with your company's network crew? Sounds like there is a proxy causing trouble ...

Thanks all of you for the response. I could able to solved it. the problem was because I was not giving full domain name on my URL for accessing the bsp. Even my network is not configured to resolve ip through full domain name. so I entered a dummy domain on my system32/driver/etc/host file with the ip address of the server. Now when I am accessing the bsp its working al right.

but prevoiusly I use to access it through ip address. may be they have installed some path.
