ISR - Back to Author. How?

Hey guys, am pretty new to ISR's, but I have created a few.. The default ones allow for the ISR to be Returned to the author, but that button does not seem to do much. It just creates an item in the Authors worklist asking if he wants to edit the form, but clicking yes does nothing.

Here is what i need.

1) User submits form

2) Manager sends from back

3) User opens form and makes changes and re-submitts (which starts the approval process over).

Does anyone know what Task i use to do the sendback? or activity? etc?

Thanks!

-Jason

    Hi Jason,

The standard task TS17900102 is used to return a form to a user to edit another time. With this standard task, the user receives a returned form that he or she has already edited.

This standard task is triggered in the following conditions:

    ● When a user of the form chooses the Back to Author function in the form application

    ● If the workflow is modeled according to the related workflow step for the processing status (PROCSTATE) BACK.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Aravind.P

from what i can tell that Task is a HCM Process and Forms task, and does not work for general ISR's..

Am i just off base? but when i try to use it i keep getting GUID errors..
