Is it possible for SBO to be integrated in SAP CCMS?

SAP Systems, such as R/3 and BW, have CCMS infrastructure.

What about SBO? I believe SBO doesn't have such functionality.

Do I just need to install a CCMS Agent(SAPCCMSR) for SBO System and configure Web AS as a Central Monitoring System?

Best Regards

Hi Hiroki,

Don´t know much about CCMS infrastructure, but the tools to integrate SBO with R3 are the SAP Exchange Infraestructure (known as XI too). This software exports some webservices that interact with the SBO DI Server. Another posible way is to create your own mapping rules.

There are some documents in the SMB marketplace regarding to this issue under SolutionsIntegration CapabilitiesIntegration Toolkit.

Hope helps you, and you can share your experience with us.

Hi Ibai,

Thanks for your reply.

In the environment of the SBO Systems, how a database management system should be monitored and administrated?

Any suggestions how to monitor the periodic tasks, such as checking the database consistency, monitoring disk space, shrinking transaction logs, updating statistics, etc...?

I'm considering to install XI as a central monitoring system and configure the CCMS Infrastructure to monitor R/3, BW, B1 Systems and to add functionarities which will inform the administrator in case of an alert.

If you have such experiences, please give me an advise, will you?

Best Regards
