Hi All,
I have designed an infoobject which has time-dependat attributes thereby it creates the Q table or the time-dependant master data table.
When this table is created, it automatically puts 0DATETO in the key section. This is by default.
But my issue is that, in our R/3 source system, the table that I extract the master data from has the "From Date" in its key.
Does anyone know how to get around this situation? Does BW have an option so that when I create a time-dependant master data object, I can put 0DATEFROM in the key instead of the 0DATETO it defaults to??
Thanks much,
Regards,
Reddy
0DATEFROM and 0DATETO are managed by BW in order to split time dependent infos of your master data in a transparent way ... so according to me you should have no problems.
Hope it helps

You cannot create time dependent tables with the DATEFROM in the key. There are some ways to solve the problem.
One way would be to add the field DATETO into the datasource and fill it with a user exit. The other way would be to fill DATETO in the start routine of the BW.
