Smartforms:Can i call a Tcod from Driver Prg 4 its o/p 2 be appended

Hello Smartform Gurus

I need 2 call 1 tcode from my Driver prog ,which has report o/p that is 2 be appended in my Smartform o/p as a

appended page .

Is it possible at all ?

plz throw some light on this .

Hi Moni,

of course you can call additional routines / programs / transactions in output routines of message (as long as you make your own, which is assigned in NACE).

Outputs will be in one spool, if they are created with same name, same printer and if not flag 'no appending' is set. Numbering might be an issue.

But in general: yes, possible.

Do u mean that only the NACE configurations will serve my purpose i.e by specifying the required TCODE whose o/p is to be appended as the smartform pages in NACE .

Or i need 2 incorporate the code for that in my driver program.

Plz tell bit elaborately .if u hav any code just give me plz

Hi Moni,

of course there are several ways to reach your goal.

I have assumed:

- your smartform is based on a SAP-document

- document output is based on standard output determination with output messages

This is defined in customizing (SPRO) at several places or combined in NACE.

Anyway, create additional output just after smartform output, take care of same printer, spool name and so on -> you will end with one (combined) spool request.

Have a look for output messages, if you are unsure how to get a 'simple' smartform output.
