Performane issue in the extraction

Hi,

Can anybody tell me the procedure to decrece the time required to fill up the setup table. And I would be very happy if i get the notes list on SD extraction(settings we need to take care to increase the performance of extraction).

Hi Anil,

Try to run the back ground job of Setup tables in Central Instance of R/3. It will greatly increase performance since it will minimize round trips to and fro the APPS server and DB Server.

Hi Anil,

Program->execute->in background...(then go to SM37 to check your job)

anil,

try reading up SAP notes 436393 and 417307 - they all pertain to improving setup table population runtimes and extraction runtimes.

if you can't access the notes, let me know and i'll give you a basic overview.
