Error in QAAWS in Selecting prompt value

Hi Experts,

I have BEx Query in which I have Restriction on cal Day.

On top of BEx Query I have created Universe.

On this Universe i am creating a Query using Qaaws, but while Selecting prompt value which is Date in format mm//dd//yyyy.

But I am getting error:

"getdocumentinformation exception(WIS 10901).

A database error occurred. The database error text is: The value entered i snot valid. It must adhere to one of the following formats. YYYYMMDD. DD.MM.YYYY. (wis 10901)."

While running the same query using Web i, i am not getting any error. but only while using Qaaws, i am getting this error.

Can anyone help me to sort out this problem,

Thanks in Advance,

With Regards,

Chintan Vora

    What SP/FP are you using?

Have a look at the fixed issues pdf for XI3.1 SP3 FP3.6, I recall there was an error along these lines fixed recently.

In the mean time, you could use Excel formulas and prompt/filter on Year, Month and Day key individually.

    Hi Chintan Vora

Did you manage to solve your problem?

We're encountering the same problem on date prompts, where it works (for some people at least) in the WebI rich client, but fails for everyone (with that error message) when run from InfoView.

    Cheers,

    Andrew
