I am a little unclear on what you are trying to convey in your message.

With a value of "X" in your scope of check for production orders, all production orders shall be considered in the availability check. These orders include orders that have not yet been released (Status CRTD).

Therefore, if you have production orders in your system, they shall be considered and should increase the available quantity.

For example, you may have 10 in stock (See MMBE), and you may have a production order with a quantity of 10 due to finish in 10 days time. By including production orders, you will be able to confirm a requirement of 20 in 10 days time. By excluding production orders, you would only be able to confirm a requirement of 10 today. Co)( is where you would see the scope check settings being considered, not MMBE.

I hope this helps. If not, please reply with further elaboration on what you are trying to achieve.

Dear Noel,

Thanks for your inforamtion.

My question there is aleady existing ATP check with out actvating the AVL check with X i.e to include all the production orders,

Now I want to actvate ATP inlcuding all the production and process odrers when ATP is carried out, what would be the impact of the changes.

Now I want to change AVL check 01 and rule B= Delivery .

Can I see in the MMBE the stock based on the production orders, can I be able to create a delivery and Do PGI.

Pls advise the impact

There will be no impact on MMBE as MMBE is only valid for actual stock. A production order does not become actual stock until a goods receipt for that production order is posted.

There will be an impact on transaction CO09; this is the transaction to use for availability check.

There will be no impact on the post goods issue stage as yuo need to have the actual stock by then (The production orders must be completed). However, there could be an impact on the delivery creation stage.

Consider the following example:

On Hand Stock = 10

Production Order A = 10 (Finish Date = September 10th)

Production Order B = 10 (Finish Date = September 20th)

^^^You see this in CO09, not MMBE.

The scope of check includes production orders; I can create a a delivery = 30 from September 20th onwards

The scope of check does not include production orders: You can only create a delivery for a quantity = 10.

After delivery creation, and you get to the PGI stage, the setting should not have an influence as by then you should have the stock on hand (You cant issue something you dont have!). Therefore, you check MMBE to see if you have stock. The scope of check settings have no influence on MMBE. In the above example, if the production orders finish on schedule, you should have 20 in stock (MMBE) on Sep 10th & 30 in stock on Sept. 20th. Therefore, you should be able to issue the stock on these dates.

The availability check allows you to commit the production order quantities to the delivery during delivery creation before they become stock.
