ME 2.1

Hello, i have two questions:

- i need to install mobile engin 2.1 and me 2.1 client in my PC. Where could i get me 2.1 client for pc?

- i have created a syncbo in was 6.20. it uses example functions 'MEREP_CONTACT_GETLIST' and 'MEREP_CONTACT_GETDETAIL' but when i map any field in 'MEREP_CONTACT_GETDETAIL' give the following message

"BAPI key has not been mapped for Read Detail BAPI Wrapper". i have created the same syncbo in 6.40 and no error appeared. What shuold i do?

For the first question, in your installation disk there are 2 folders: /wince, and /win32. In the /win32/uncomp folder resides the setup files. I think me2.1 is not available for download, but I'm not sure.

For the SyncBO, check again whether you have mapped all necessary keys for the Read Detail BAPI Wrapper. I remember, that the tutorial was pretty good explained in the MDK, I have done it step-by-step looking there.

Perheps you have omitted some attribute mapping for the ReadDetail BAPI, it happens to me many times.

I have tried to install ME2.1 (../win32/uncomp/setup) but an error message appeared "Java Development Kit version prior to 1.1" But i have installed JDK 1.5

I have installed MI 2.5 and had no problem.

Any suggestion?

Aha, yes, I had the same trouble. There is a bug in the setup program. The setup program wrongly detect your current JDK as java 1.1 and aborts the installation.

Try to install other jdk version, I think with JDK 1.3.1_06 or 1.4.2 the installation completes successfully.
