Conversion of Old material to new material

Hi,

I need a FM or method that converts old materials(BISMT) to new materials(MATNR).User will enter old materials in the selection screen. Based on that I need to fetch other data.

I found one FM CONVERSION_EXIT_MATN1_INPUT. But it is not solving my problem.

    Hi Kishore,

    I guess you could try out the FM GET_MATERIAL_ID? Let me know if that is not applicable / doesn't solve your purpose.
