Activation of Update Rules with Formulas

Hello everyone,

After upgrading our systems from BW 3.1C to BW 3.50, we cannot compile simple formulas in our update rules after transporting them to our test system. Our system is currently on SP level 10.

Currently, we have implemented several notes that refer to the problems we watched in the transport logs, each of which solved the problem, leading us to a new one.

The last one, note 789272, fixed a problem with the formula compiler/builder, and also erased the changes made by note 788629, contained in SP 10 for component SAP BW 3.50. Now, we experience the problem that was allegedly fixed with that note.

Has anyone else encountered this, and has anyone received official support for this matter?

I will appreciate any input on this severe problem.

    This is definitely a case for an OSS message. If the notes are incorrect they need to be fixed and this can only happen by development. So please open an OSS message and if the processing is too slow raise the priority to high.

      Hi Dirk,

      Thanks for your input, that's exactly where I'm at for the last two weeks. Does it mean you're at the same level with your BW systems, but haven't encountered this error?
