HR:: Org Assignment in BDC

Hi,

In the HR system PA and OM are linked.So any position filled via Hire / re-hire is reflected in the org structure.

In the system, when we do a manual re-hire via PA40 of a person then the Org assignment is also done.

However we have a number of temporary emp that we need to remove and then re-hire as and when required.

This can be done via a manual rehire via PA40 / PA30 (Re-hire Action) but it is very cumbersome so we via bact input.

When we are using BDC the record is created in PA infotypes fine (in 0000 and 0001 the older position is again occupied by the person ), however in Org structure the position still appears to be Empty and not occupied by this personnel.

Any reasons or solution ?

Is there any FM that can be used to fill the position in OM (Org management).

Thanks..

    Hi

    There should be some synchronization hole. You can use the report to check and correct this. I can not remember the name of the report, but you can find it under HR area menu and I recall its name suiting the mask "RH*".

    Yes, Serdar is right. Here it is the reference to that program help: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/bb/bdaff3575911d189240000e8323d3a/frameset.htm. See "Batch Inputs from Personnel Admin. to Org. Management" topic.

    The program name is RHINTE00.

    Also I would recommend to use FM HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA instead of batch input. I used it for performing hr actions and it worked fine and did all PD integration.
