hi experts,
i have release procedure at purchase requisition level.
i have created purchase requisition for two line item in me51n, now i go to tc for approval and approve both the line item, but later the client wants to reduce the quantity in one of the line item so unrelease the line item, now when i go to me52n to change the pr with the right quantity, i am not able to do it as the pr quantity is in display mode. so how am i going to change the quantity.

For release procedure for purchase requisition ,select the release indicator and in the chanjabilty indicator select 4 then save then come back and check it.

Hi,
Go to SPRO > MM > Purchasing > PR > Release Procedure > Set up procedure > Release Indicator.
Click in Blocked-1
And make the Changeabil. as "4" .
This will resolve your issue,

Set the PR release indicator as"4" .Then the new release can be adopted when there is a change in qty/price.
Note:The new release strategy will only be Re-triggred if there is any value increase in PR.

Check the field settings in the system for the ME52N in the system.
Use the path :
SPRO- Materials Management -Purchasing-Purchase Requisition- Define Screen Layout at Document Level
I am sure the field is in the display mode. Make it to required mode
Also check the field display at the document type level
