Defining Values for Elements

Hi all

I have created an input Data structure where i need to enter values for my elements like token no,structure ID,UserID date,time.can any body let me know where i need to enter these values.

    Hi Venkat,

    You have to configure a Communication Channel where the Data come in.

    For Example you can use the HTTP Adapter and send the Input Data with a POST-Request to XI in your structure.

    Hi Robin

    I think you got my question wrong..

    In my scenario there is only one element in my input data structure to be mapped with the my output data structure.the remaining elements of my input data structure need not be mapped but i got to assign values for these elements something like restrictions or madatory values.

    Hi Venkat,

    You must use a mapping between the outbound message (comming into XI) and the inbound message (going out of XI).

    In the XI mapping you can use a constant function.

    Just double click the field in your target structure and add the constant function from the function block.

    Double click it, to set the value.
