Amit,

I don't want to hard Card it to get the subtotal Distribution Channel wise(1;2;3). Later Distribution Channel can have new addition of values. So this won't work. My requirement is dynamic- Distribution Wise Subtotal to get at the end, If apart from existing column value (4,5,6) is added then at the end all subtotal means 6 rows(1;2;3;4;5;6) to be displayed .

Amit,

My Concern is How do I apply Structure(Distribution Channel) type of restriction for each Material No in a Row. For Eg One Material number XX1 for that Distribution "1";"2";"3" must be reapeated. If no Measure is there then still it will Show with blank Record. In my case I am finding When I am applying break on Material No, Only it is showing one Distribution Channel let Say "01" . I want all 3 (Three) Distribution Channel will be shown and give the SubTotal Material Wise.

Requiremnt:- For Every Material, Distribution Channel Should be repeated "01";"02";"03" and display the Sub Total. if no Measure value is there against that row(Material) then the cell should display null.

Did you check the option in format table for "Show rows with empty measures"? If not try checking it and then see.

Also I would recommend you to go to format number and assign 0 when it is equal to null or undefined.

Thanks for your reply kuldeep. Please check the attachment, nothing to do with format table. I want the Subtotal distribution channel Wise at the End in the Cross tab report. to achieve that I cannot hardcode like below

=Sum([Measure]) where ([Dists Channel]="1"

Instead I want the dynamic approach. like if I apply break in the crosstab then it will give the subtotal distribution channel wise individually. which I don't want. I want at the end the subtotal will come. I hope you understand.

I appreciate you help.

If that is the case then apply the first break on District Channel and then to Material and so on.

Hope that helps.

No Kuldeep. It won't fulfill my requirement like you said.

Thanks..

Hi Amit ,

We can't get the required format with 1 table . we can get the same structure using a vertical table attached to cross tab with only Distribution channel and measures .

We should set fixed width for columns which has dimensions in the case in both tables to retain formatting ..

Thank you

Thanks Sateesh..

I got it what you trying to say. But I would like to see some straight forward way with some if IF ELSE logic to separate the subtotal & Row values. And apply this variable in the Break.

as footers are only to display aggregated value ,we dont get dimensions values extended in rows as you need . If you are sure with no of footer rows you will be needing in atleast for next 2 years , then you can go with hard coding with If else's .

Thank you
