Payment of the Maize with the reference of Moisture result

In our company, Maize purchased at the standard moisture 15%. If moisture will greater than the 15%, the payment of maize less than the 15% moisture rate. How is it possible?

Hi,

One idea is to create a unit of measure "kgs of dry maize" (e.g. KGD). Then create your PO with the order unit kg and order price per KGD. ME21N will ask you for the translation factor from KG to KGD, make it be 115 KG = 100 KGD.

Then, during the GR you will enter the real weight in KG and the system will suggest the quantity of dry maize in KGD (will divide the weight in KG by 1,15). The receiving personnel will be able to adjust this weight to the actual weight of dry maize. Well, I assume you can't measure the weight of dry maize, you measure the %-age of moisture instead. This means that the user will have to do some calculations before entering the correct figure in KGD.

The value of the receipt (which will also be the value suggested in MIRO) will be calculated based on the amount of KGD's entered.

You might be able to show a pop-up window, accept from the user the %-age of moisture and calculate the weight of dry maize automatically using the BAdI MB_MIGO_ITEM_BADI or MB_MIGO_BADI, but I am not sure - I have never tried this before. Another option is GUI XT.
