Integer field value changes

Hi,

I came across a funny behaviour of MDM integer field.

when the input is : 123456789123

in DM i can see : -1097262461

Does anyone know Why?

HI John,

This is expected as the no you mentioned exceeds the maximum length MDM integer field can accomodate.

It just throws a garbage error.Refer to pg no96 of SAP MDM Console guide.
