coding for customer exit variables

Hi,

I have a need for getting the followingand all these need to be populated using customer exit.

1. Week

2.Month

3.Quarter

4.Year

5.Week to date

6.Quarter to date

7.Year to date

Does anyone have the code for this. This needs to be based on nilling date obtained from sales order item.

    Hi Amit,

    it's very easy to do a time conversion...

    ..but you need this conversion on a series of variables (you listed in your posts) deriving the value from another variable (in your case sales item date)?

    And are you referring to calendar or fiscal objects ?

      Hi,

      Well lets say the user wants to run the report on 20040209 and enters the billing date for one particular customer 'walmart' as 200040115.

      week all records with billing date from (user entered value -optional) 020105 to 020905 (user entered value-optional).

      Year all records with billing date from (user entered value -optional) 020104 to 020905(user entered value-optional).
