Re arrange columns in time sheet in ESS

is there any way to re arrange the columns in record time application in Eph 5 ESS

Hi All,

          I have been searching for the same issue as I came accross with the width of the "Record Working Times" CATS iview. The Columns was not arranged properly and by default it was showing days Saturday to Wednesday.

There is the propertiy in the IVIEW its self where you can adjust the column width.

so got to Content Administration---> Portal Content-->ESS/MSS Role page or Record Working Time IVIEW--->Edit properties-----> Sort the properties by category---->then the following property value normally set to 10 you can change this to 12 or 15 ( this worked for me).

com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.personalization.IViewPersonalization:_/Windows:_.record.IVACWindow/Views:VcCatTableWeek/Elements:TimesheetData_Table/OverriddenProperties:scrollableColCount/value --- Set the value to 12 or 15 ( please there is no limit).

With EHP5 we can't do personalization using portal content admin because columns are dynamically built based on time entry profile.

Personalization (changing text of header and rearranging) needs to be done through coding.

yes you can rearrange the columns of the attributes

in frontend there is a settings link on top of grid, where you can sort etc.

I can hide fields based on profile through config but not able to get how and where can we do to rearrange

also this what you can do

When the application is launched all columns are shown in the UI. The

end user has a personalization option where he/she can define which

or how many columns would he/she wish to see and save as default

personalization. There are many other things possible in the

personalization like - fixing columns, number of visible rows, column

re-ordering etc.

We want to do it global not @ user level.

Can i know Tcode or Path to do so

you can do administration personalisation too, Please try this approach

there is no backend customisation for this

you can verify in the spro for record working time under ESS (WD ABAP)

Not able to invoke administration personalisation on the fields.

does this possible with webdynpro abap or we need to have any additional authorizations for this.

Go to the standard configuration

HRESS_AC_CATS_1 and

Start the configuration

Copy the standard configuration HRESS_AC_CATS_1 to

Z_HRESS_AC_CATS_2
