Hi Guys

Steps I did for carrying out Physical Inventory @ bin level:

1) Create system inventory Record ( Li01n)

2) Activate System Inventory Record (Li02N)

3) Enter Inventory Count (Li11N)

4) Clearing Differences in WM (Li20), it works fine till here

5) Clearing of differences in MM (Li21)

and when i am carrying out step 5 , i am getting below error. ( Storage Type used 999)

Error Message:

No Material Document Was Created

Message no. BL001

can you give some info about the stock.

is it batch managed?

how much do you have in MMBE for the location that is warehouse managed.

is the quantity there higher than the difference you want post?

do you have authority to post 711/712 movements in that plant?

Stock is not Batch Managed.

How much do you have in MMBE for the location that is warehouse managed ,

In LS24 , Material is stored in BIn , So I have around 3000 parts in the Bin and i am trying to take physical inventory @ Bin Level.

After Counting I found 5 Less , So i want to post the actual Qty in Li20 i.e 2995 for that Bin and write 5 pcs.

Is there any way in the config , if we post the Difference @ WM Level , it will automatically posted in IM Level.

Or Manually User need to go into one More Transaction Li21 to Post at IM level by entering Warehouse no. and Storage Type 999.

Quantity is higher than the Difference Posted.

do you have authority to post 711/712 movements in that plant?

LI01 , Li02 ,Li11n , Li20 , Li21 --in any of this transactions system won't ask for Movement Type Inputs.

DO you think do I Need to maintain this Movement type in WM-MM Interface?

the Only Problem i am having is Posting the Actual Physical Quantity @ MM level?

Where this particular error Material document can not be created is coming. in Li21 Transaction .

I did n't any problem wihile doing goods receipt Material document is created in that transaction?

I already mentioned that BL001 is a variable message, it is not really good traceable for a non-Abaper, I am certain that an excellet ABAPer can find the root cause when debugging.

I cannot remember that I ever had any error in LI21 in last 14 years.

this LI21 transaction cleares the differences with inventory managment. For this it creates inventory movement with a movement type from 711 to 718, based on the type of difference and the type of stock.

If SAP cannot create such a movement, then something may not be in sync, e.g. your difference in WM is for blocked stock, while you have no blocked stock in IM. (root cause could be an unprocessed posting change notice)

or you have no autorization to post to a certain general ledger account in this company. to adjust differences you have to have the authority, just the authority to execute transaction LI21 is not enough.

Much more authorization objects are checked. enter /NSU53 in the OK field when you see the message that no material document was created, then SAP tells you if a authorization check failed.

The movement types are autoassigned by SAP, you dont need to take care about that yourself (except you want use different movement types for inventory adjustments for internal reasons).

Thanks for your efforts , Error was in WM Config , There is a check mark adjacent for Storage type 999 , "Dont allow GR , GI "

we unchecked and i was able to create material document number.
