OrgChart 3.0 Doubts

Hi all,

1 -Does anybody know how can I compress a huge amount of same positions name liked to a OrgUnit.

for example, 40 same positions with 40 employees to just one position displaying the employees inside?

2 - If I use the functionality of MyProfile using LinkedIn, all my info downloaded will be available to other users, manager, etc?

3 - If the customer creates OrgUnits in future date. Will they be displayed in OrgChart?

that's all,

hope you can help me out.

Marcelo

    Hi Marcelo,

    Please see my comments below.

1 -Does anybody know how can I compress a huge amount of same positions name liked to a OrgUnit.

Yes, there is functionality called Grouped nodes. You can configure it in the AdminConsole in the OrgChart module. Click on your orgchart (e.g. Organization Structure) and then select General Settings. It should be towards the bottom.

2 - If I use the functionality of MyProfile using LinkedIn, all my info downloaded will be available to other users, manager, etc?

Yes, it can be searched by other users. This is to enhance organizational collaboration.

3 - If the customer creates OrgUnits in future date. Will they be displayed in OrgChart?

No, effective dating (as it is called) is not yet available in OrgChart. Only current data will be displayed, although through customization it could be possible to show future dated objects in the OrgChart.

    Best regards,

    Luke
