DR Test in SAP PI env

Hi All,

We are performing a DR test in PI environmnet. Idea is we have to stop all the communication channels of PI (Prod), once DR server is UP all the stopped PI channels (in prod) will be started in DR server automatically(with out manual restart)??

I dont think stoped channels will restart automatically in your case.

I have some further doubts for auto switch to DR server for PI.

1) how you will manage the SLD?

2) how you will manage the integration engine config?

3) how you will manage the solman config for monitoring?

as of my opinion you have to do the things manually.

Mentors : please give you thoughts/opinion for DR site of PI and automatic switch...

Hi Madhav,

You can restart all the channels manually easily using the Communication channel monitoring. Not sure what is the exact issue.
