Hi!

we have created costing key and assigned KEPC in order to check current cost estimate while doing billing.

But system is checking for materials which are having procurment type "F - External" and price control "V-Moving Average Price", how to exclude this type of materials.

Hi

If your material type is not separate for such materials, then you need to release Std cost for V materials also (As a formality)

Hi Ajay,

if the material type is different, then how we can exclude these material types in order to avoid checking for standard cost estimation.

Basically we don't want to release cost estimate for materials with price control "V".

Hi

If Mat Type is separate - You can use KE4J instead of KEPC...

One more way out:

Derive the Price Control from Table MBEW using TABLE LOOKUP in KEDR to a WWXXX CHar

Then use Mat Type & WWXXX in KEPC to derive the Costing Key...

Just give it a try and see if it works...

Note:

You may not need even a WWXXX Char.. Try to plug in FIeld VPRSV from MBEW Table in KEA5 as a Ref Char.. I think it should work

ajay,

In KEPC, I am changing the assignment rule by adding material type field MTART, i think this will solve.

Hello Ramesh,

If you have created Standard cost estimate for materials having price control "V" in that case the system will check for cost estimate of these materials.

In furture, do not create cost estimates for price control "V", then system will not check these materials.
