Hi workflow gurus,
Good day!
I have already successfully completed the workflows needed for ESS and MSS functionalities in the backend. Now, the requirement is to have the emails sent to the users office emails so that they can be informed of any tasks to be executed or notifications. For work items, this is already taken care of by running job RSWUWFML2 in the background.
However, for the notifications implemented as send mail steps, the emails are still being sent to the SBWP inbox. I tried following the procedure for automatic forwarding via SO16 but the emails are still not being forwarded. Do I need to check on other settings?
Regards,
Hi,
Check that the user's have email addresses in SU01. Also the communication method should be correctly set there (If I remember correctly it should be email).
You could also check if you could start using extended notifications instead of RSWUWFML2. RSWUWFML2 is getting obsolete while of course still working fine.
Regards,
Karri

Hello,
To get SAP to forward mails from the SAP inbox to external emails you have to:
1) add the email address in SU01
2) set "Comm. Method" to "E-mail" in SU01
3) in SO16, tab Mail sy.grp, radio button "Send to Home Addresses of Users"
4) in SO16, tab Addressing, Reset buffer
You really should look into using Extended Notifications instead of RSWUWFML2, as Karri says.
