Hi,

Bulk storage strategy is denoted with B. In this how many stacks and how much height should define in the combination of storage bin type and SUT. Bulk storaae indicator also set in material master level In storage type 8 load carriers and for a row 4 pallets of 32 SUTs can store.

In Open storage strategy only one one bin in each storage section should maintain. If you want to store different materials allow mixed storage.

Open storage is a type of warehouse organization in which you define a single storage bin for a storage section. Normally if it a large area with one (or more) storage sections.

Materials that occur in large quantities and generally take up a lot of space in storage are often stored in bulk storage. Mainly it is used for Reduced need for physical storage bins, Fast access to the trading units, Clear structuring of the warehouse (into blocks and rows)

This putaway strategy searches for storage bins in bulk storage.

Hello,

Open Storage: Only one Bin for One storage section under the Open Storage Strategies. Normally if it a large area with one (or more) storage sections (bins), you can use it.

Bulk Storage: Normally it will be divided into storae unit types (pallet types),Each sut will be a bin under the bulk storage indicator. In the material master you can define the qty for each storage unit type and bulk storage indicator.
