Dep Days calculation

Hi,

When clicked on "asset values", under the "parameters" tab, the remaining life calculation is .

In fiscal year 2011,

Useful life is 17 years

Expired usefile life is 10 / 180

Original useful life is 17/ 4 Ord dep start date is 03/10/2000

How to calculate days in this .

Hi

there are so many parameters relevant. This should always be checked on a test case.

Normally:

2000.....................89 days

2001 - 2016.........365 days

2017...................276 days

Many thanx for your reply. i have raised this issue to sap , as per their calculation 6506 days are their.

As per SAP, Remaning life calculation is 006/185. 100/6506 = 15,37%

i am unable to find the way how they are calculation.

can you please help us. if you need any more information regarding this i will provide you.

Hi,

please check the expired and remaining useful life in asset explorer year by year from FY 2000 on. Then it will be clear.

Useful life......................17 / 0

Expired useful life.......10 / 180

Remaining life.............06 / 185

185 / 365 = 0,506849315

100 / 6,506 = 15,37

Base value x Percentage rate = Depreciation

your calculation shows 6205 but according to sap calculation its 6506. diff of 301 .

OK, now I understand the misunderstanding.

It's a different meaning of "," and "."

6,506 is not 6.5060,00 or 6,506.00 !

Let's try again:

185 / 365 = 0.506849315

So we have 6 and 0.506849315 = 6.506

100 / 6.506 = 15.37
