Hi,
I have to include the Process Type Delete Overlapping Request from Infocube in my existing chain.
But the cube is already having data in it and i am not able to include the exisitng DTP in this process type.
The DTP is Delta Load selected and i think unless i dont change to Full Load i cannot find that DTP in process type.
I am not able to change to full load as data exists.
Can anyone please help what is possible solution for this?
I tried to move data to copy but its not loaded correctly as many other DTP's with semantic key selections have provided data to this cube.
Also can you please tell me if i use Info Package in this process type will it do same function as if i include DTP?
Regards
Syed

Hi,
Delete overlapping request is used for full loads , and this is mostly done when you are loading data to infocube, so that data duplication will not happen. In your case as you mentioned that DTP type is delta, then why do you want to delete overlapping request, as each of your delta will be different and it should be persisted in cube otherwise there will be data loss.

Hi Syed,
I think you are working on SAP BI 7.0.If you want to delete overlapping request from CUBE, then you have to use DTP, if it is from PSA then you can use IP.
Check the below threads
Have to tried to change extraction mode from delta to full in change mode of DTP.
If you are not able to change, then i think you need to delete the data from CUBE and load the data again as full load.
now use delete overlapping request process type in process chain.
