Hi Experts

when converting the base document to a target document all the line items gets copied on to the target document

Is there a way you can covert only the line items you want with out having to remove/delete line items from the target document This process is time consuming as there may be about 40 line items and only 5 items need to be coverted to the target document

Thanks

Apsara

Hi Apsara,

You can select Copy From to select needed lines only if those lines are much less than total lines. If half half, both way would be the same.

Thanks,

Hi,

In order to copy the data to the target document you have two options :

1) Use the Copy To : which is quicker as you are already in the Base Document and you click on Copy to button and the target document is populated with all theh lines in the base document from where you can delete the rows which you do not want in the target document.

2) Use the COPY from : where you have to open the target document in add mode then first select the relevant open document from the list of open documents for that Business Partner and then Draw Document you have select from the option as well which will also consume some time.

You check both the options and see where the time consumption is less and opt that as a process.

Kind Regards,

Jitin

HI

Using 'Draw Document' wizard which will appear when use 'Copy from' button...

In this wizard you can customize the data by selecting or deselecting the row ....
