How to return the components with work order?

Dear Gurus,

I have to return some components of work order to inventory.

There are two tcodes I know I can use: MIGO / MB11

but in MIGO, I can't perform the MT262 with reference to the original work order / reservation , I must refer to material document.

and in MB11, after I post the component with MT262, the material number won't link to the original reservation.

Is there any way I can return the components with MT262 refer to work order, and the material document can link with its own reservation?

Hi,

In transaction MB1A, follow from the menu Goods Issue -> Cancel With Reference -> To Order. Enter production order and check the items you want to move to stock. To avoid unnecessary reversals I advise you to uncheck all items first.

Hi,

use MIGO tcode and use GOODS ISSUE against OTHERS and manually give the MTYPE 262. Then in the Item details screen specify your production order number.This will solve your issue.

Try to cancel the material document with MBST , it will refer the same reservation.

Go to MB11- Give MT 262- Click on to Reservation then give resrvation no.

But after I enter the MT262 and reservation no. , the movement type will change to 261 automatically in the selection screen.

Any opinion?
