Hi Tony,

You have to go for Resource related billing in your scenerio, You can enter the quantity approved by client while creating bililng request so that you shall come to know the quantity approved and rejected.

Hi Gokul,

We need to implement Measurement Book to update the quantity approved by the client engineer at site.

Scenario is

We have 100 meter order from client; supplied 100 meter to site. The invoice is raising for 100 meter but client approves only 60 meter in Measurement Book, so will get payment only for 60 meter. As and when client records the remaining quantise the payment released accordingly.

Need to know a method to enter approved qty from site as it recorded in Measurement book, so that we can calculate receivables in SAP.

We are exploring the options which we can use as measurement book in SAP. One option in mind is to use SKF to record the approved qty.

Thanks,

Tony

Hi,

We have similar situation in conustruction industry. We uesd Service activities for this purpose. Create model service specifications and copied them to the service activity. As and when vendor submits the RA(Running account) bills, service entry is done in ML81N wrt to the Mbook maintained physically at site While doing service entry we are entering RA bill no in description field for identification. Then we are extracting the details in standard report in ME2j Purchase order history or one more report is there ME2S, In ME2S we gets a detailed report on how much qty was ordered, how much qty received and how much qty is invoiced. This report shows with traffic lights. Once it is green mean all the qty ordered is received and invoiced.

This is an alternative method we used in place of Mbook, pl let me also know if gets a direct solution for Mbook.

Thanks

You can make use of user fields in the network activity. There are four number fields. First one you can use it for Quantity ordered, the second one for quantity supplied, third one for quantity approved, fourth one for quantity to be approved. Also you can do an authorization control on these fields who can change it etc. The Tab name also change to "Govt. Mes. Book" instead of user field so that the user can maintain the data easily.
