Login Issue with BOBJ Edge 3.1 XI

Hello

I installed BOBJ 3.1 XI edge series server almost 2 months ago and tested almost everything such as CMC, Indoview and webi rich client, Designer and I was able to log in . Server was untouched since last two months so when I tried to log on today, it gives me an error that your logon id is not valid. I cant even log on to CMC.

I checked and in CCM everything is running such as SIA, tomcat etc.

I think when I installed the server the only user I created was Administrator but on Administrator's properties I forgot to check the box where it says password will never expire (I THINK THIS THE MISTAKE I MADE) and seems like the Administrator's password is expired since I didnt log on to the server since last 2 months.

Can you guys please advise me how do I resolve this issue and log back in to the server again, I would appreciate your help.

Suggest to open a message with support and have an engineer assist (if you can send them your CMS DB they can unlock it for you.)

Thanks for your reply and I read both the links and it was usefull info. I guess this hack only works for R2 but not for 3.1, are you sure that the only option I have left is to contcat sap support engineer and open a service ticket with them so they can unlock it.

As I mentioned this is brand new installtion, so there is no report no universe build in this as yet, I am thinking if I can uninstall and reinstall it again (is there any liscence issue if I reinstall)
