Trigger the Workflow again

Hi Experts,

I have requirement where in I need to trigger the same workflow with the same container values again. Below is the scenario.

I have a User Decision task which has 2 buttons.

1. Trigger again the workflow.

2. Reverse the Invoice.

If the "Trigger again the workflow" button is selected then again the same workflow needs to triggered with the same Workflow values. I have a check function module to start the workflow which also checks for the active workflow task for this object key. I am not sure how to proceed on this requirement.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks & Regards,

SRinivas

    Hi,

You can trigger your workflow again by putting a "Create Event" step after your decision step...

And pass the relevant BO values from your workflow into the event workflow...

Also insert a new background step for reversing your invoice... write a new method in your BO and code it do reversal...

    Regards

    Hi,

Why not just call teh workflow recursively, it looks also neater in the workflow log.

Just make sure that the step after the recursive call ends the flow.

    Kind regards, Rob Dieleman

    Hello,

Why trigger the same workflow again? What happens to the existing workflow?
