Hi All
I am trying to use SAP R3 as a target system but when i create datastore and trying to use it in dataflow it is treating the datastore as source and not leting me to use it of Target.
Can some on help me on this.
Hi.
To my understanding, the authorisation at the SAP level, would generally be to read the related tables of R/3 for the user name used in the datastore for SAP R/3 - if you are authorised to use those tables.
And not to : write into SAP R/3
And i think, generally that is how, it is. .. in BODS and we use SAP R/3 only for data extraction ????
Cheers

Hi
SAP tables can only be sources in dataflows. To insert or update data in SAP use a BAPI or IDOC. The SAP supplement PDF contains full information.
