PC installation of VC - will it work

I am using EP6 SP9 on my server and have VC Patch 3 installed on my laptop.

I am having problem with an results showing in the "Bank list" example....all that is show is the input form.

Has an one else 1) install VC on their laptop and connected to a backend portal 2) experienced the missing form problem.

Funny enough the result form will show if I delete the RFC in VC (but obviously this is no good as their is then no logic!)

I should have qualified this a bit.......basically the preview (and output form) work in VC - so I assume that the connections are ok - but the output form (or any other results, such as "invalid bank code") will not show when the iview is displayed to the portal.

Ok, this narrowed it down a bit.

Try re-deploying the VC SDAs to the portal, and then try running the IView you created again.

I tried redeploying the SDAs and even installed VC on the portal servr but same result....no output form.

Hi

This seems to be the a problem with the definition of the system in the portal.

In order to better understand what's the problem, please try:

1. Use the "Test Function" feature (right click on the RFC), see if you get any results.

2. Test the connection you're using to the R\3 system. That's done in the portal.
