excise issue

During July 2011 and Augu2019 2011 we have cleared material XYZ by raising domestic sale invoice. While doing so, we have charged BED (10%), Edu Cess (2%); S & HE Cess (1%) and AED (4%) + VAT 12.5% in the invoice. In partyu2019s account, all these amounts were debited to Party and the same is also appearing in report also. However, the AED (Addl Duty on Customs = 4%) is not appearing in J2IUN (Liability for the particular month).

pls suggest me

    Hi,

Please check the Table J_1IEXCDTL for your Excise Invoice No. whether the value of AED is coming into that or not.

    hi,

check in J1iin whether its posted properly. and in Excise registration in Tax on goods movement, check whether the tick is available for AED liable.

Then in tax on good movement - determination of excise duty - maintain defaults - check the condition type u have used and assign it for AED A/R.

then in business transaction - utilization check the excise group and whether the AED is assigned to it.

    Regards,

    Sudhir
