Standard queries installation

Hi,

My requirement is only standard queries installation.

can i install particular infoarea ,infocubes and all????in my se09 having only query requests and infoarea shows "NODEISNOTCONNECTED"

Can you suggest me. what is the procedure

Hi,

When you install the query (with grouping: only necessary objects) then the target along with the info area gets installed automatically. If your TR doesn't capture the Info area and the target then, got to RAS1 and then capture the info area and Infocube .

Hi Devi,

If you want to install standard Queries, you should install the entire data flow for the Infoproviders in RSA1 before itself.

Without installing all the data flow, you cannot directly install the Queries itself.

ok..Install before ,the transfer and update rules are also installed right?but i won't have much idea intosap bw 3.5....

in this situation what can i do???

You must use "Install before and after option " for standard query installation

Hi Devi Before answering the question the following are the tweaks that are in mind Is it the requirement that business wants only the standard content queries related to particular info area..??? If yes and the system is greenfield one(assuming new system) please follow the below steps... Choose grouping as only necessary and then collection mode automatically and then flag the objects and install it in back ground. Just ensure that you have placed the match or copy option it it is not a green field system..
