Issue Regarding calling Transactional Iview from Portal To R/3

Hi Experts,

I have created Transactional iviews in Portal, now when i call these Transactional iviews its working fine.

Now the issue is all the user type is in Dialog, I dont want the Portal users to log into sap gui. i wanted the Portal user type to be either System or Communications Data or Reference, which avoids the users from logging into sap gui and importantly Dialog user is costly.

So changing the user type to either System or Communications Data or Reference, how can i call the transactional iviews.

Is there any role i can assign in R/3 to call the Transactional Iviews and avoid user type Dialog .

Thanks Inadvance.

Regards,

Siva

Transaction iviews will only work for Dialog user. You can create WDJ applications and use service users to connect backend systems.
