Campaign Elements notes not triggering in the Activity

Hi All,

Issue when using "Campaign Elements":

Unfortunately any "Notes" written in the "Campaign Element" are not copied in to the Activity.

In this link1 http://sapcrmtech.page.tl/Campagin-Element-notes.htm shows the "Campaign Element" for 2011-01 with "Notes" added, however, as you can see on link2 http://sapcrmtech.page.tl/Activites-for-campagin-element.htm these "Notes" do not appear in the activity.

In the Link3 http://sapcrmtech.page.tl/Campagin-details-with-notes.htm shows the "Campaign" for 2010-01 with "Notes" added and in the link4 http://sapcrmtech.page.tl/Activites-for-campagin-details.htm you can see that these "Notes" were copied to the activity.

Please tell me why the "Notes" written in the "Campaign Element" are not copied in to the Activity.

Regards,

Venkat

    Hi Venkat,

The Notes data assigned/entered in the Campaign elements are not transfered to the Activites.

To do this you need to implement custom logic to pass the Notes data using BAdI: 'CRM_MKT_MODIFY_ORDER'.

Follow link : SPRO > CRM > Marketing Planning and Campaign Management > Campaign Execution > Business Add-Ins >

BAdI: Enhanced Creation of Business Transactions

    Use : IF_EX_CRM_MKT_MODIFY_ORDER ~ MODIFY_ACTIVITY_OBJ to implement custom logic.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Anup

    • Hi Anup,

Now any "Notes" written in the "Campaign" and "Campaign Element" are not copied in to the Activity.

Is there is any configuration to be made for the both "Campaign" and "Campaign Element" ? OR only BADI should be iplemented.

If only way is BADI, please explain an example code for this BADI to bring any "Notes" written in the "Campaign" and "Campaign Element" to the Activity.

      Regards,

      Venkat
