Hiding the iPanel in SP2

I've been trying to find on how to hide the iPanel on EP6 SP2 but no success so far.

I'd expect it to be as an iView part of the content area page, but it isn't..

Any advice on where this can be configured ?

Hi Dimitar,

first to clarify things, in contrast to EP 5.0 the detailed navigation is integrated into the iPanel and this area is now called the "navigation panel".

If the Desktop Innerpage of the Portal Framework Page you will find 6 iViews. Remove all but the "Content Area" iView and your problem should be solved.

Please check that you edit the Framework Page that is in used! You might need to have two desktops (one for Administrators) which links to different Framework Pages.

Best regards to Belgium!

I tried a diff trick and it worked...instead of attaching an iview to a folder and then attaching the folder to the role, directly try attaching the iview to the role..and presto..the detail navigation is off...:-).
